The Barco Gigasetter Large Format Plotter is an external drum laser photoplotter. It has an automatic film loader and on-line connection to the film processor. The film handling system is very simple, to maximize accuracy and reliability.
The Barco Gigasetter sets the standard in large size printing processes up to 1600 x 2450 mm (96.5 x 63.5 inches). When imaging film of this size, speed and quality are essential. The Gigasetter uses a multi-beam Optics exposure system with selectable resolutions from 2000 up to 20000 dpi.
Phototools have various industrial applications for high density PCB, BGA, lead frame, stencil, screen printing (automobile windshield industry), Flat Panel Displays and Chemical Milling.
